F-35 Tactical Simulator Operator. Run complex mission training scenarios using the F-35 Instructor Station while executing realistic opposing force tactics for surface-to-air and air-to-air threats. Provide friendly force command and control functions (ODO, ATC, forward air controller, airborne intercept controller, etc) in support of the training objectives. Insert realistic, relevant aircraft system failures emphasizing specific areas or systems of interest. Operate the F-35 debrief station mission playback. Provide input regarding opposing force game plan and execution as part of the mission debriefing. Assist in developing, testing and evaluating mission scenarios to support USMC training objectives. Coordinates squadron utilization schedules. Interact with senior and mid-level USMC leadership in a professional and productive manner. Represents the Lockheed Martin team to USMC Officer personnel on a daily basis. Develops close working relationship with squadron personnel in support of the USMC training objectives. Communicate effectively with engineering staff personnel to affect repairs in a timely manner. Interacts with security and other supporting personnel to ensure compliance with all directives. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team at dedicated training sites to fulfill F-35 training and continuation training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies, as directed

Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have a Final Transferable Secret security clearance. Current security clearance investigation within 6 years from the investigation close date. Candidate must have prior experience in Military Simulator Training. Must have knowledge of operating aircraft within the National Airspace System. Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Able to learn and use the Instructor Operating Station to provide smooth uninterrupted training events over a myriad of mission types. Able to recognize deviations from normal operations and communicate / recommend timely remedies. Able to adapt to changeable missions, scenarios, and training objectives on short notice without loss of effectiveness. Able to learn, understand, and apply basic air traffic control principles, and Marine Aviation Command and Control principles. Able to learn complex aircraft systems. Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required. Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits and strong oral & written communication abilities. Must have active secret clearance and be to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access

Desired skills
Experience operating aircraft within the National Airspace System under VMC and IMC conditions
Familiarity / experience operating in the Marine Aviation Command and Control System
Firsthand experience operating or maintaining complex aircraft systems.
Candidate must be willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedule
