Associate Mechanical Test Engineer responsible for the development of detailed test procedures using the Automation Framework (A/F) tool, and other documentation needed to conduct Space Vehicle (SV) and Subsystem assembly and testing.

Support Execution of tests required for specific test phases throughout the lifecycle of the program

Assist in the review and analysis of telemetry and test data, ensuring generated data accurately verifies SV functionality and performance parameters

Recognize and document test anomalies found during integration and test execution. Support Program System Engineering and CPEs in the verification of test requirements

Support Trouble shooting to resolve test anomalies

Understand and perform job duties using the principles and disciplines of SV Test Engineering including policy, procedures, process disciplines, operations, safety and command media

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other technical filed. Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Willing to work overtime supporting off shifts and weekends in a 24/7 operations environment. Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

Desired skills
Strong understanding and ability to use standard and precision tools to integrate and test critical program hardware. Experience with optical measuring equipment (scopes, laser trackers, etc.) a plus. Experience in SV Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE). Become accepted into the Certified Test Conductor program to further the discipline required to work within our organization
