Job Details

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer Staff to perform a variety of assignments that will support program test milestones. Candidate will leverage their technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional team environment. Tasks may include:

Analysis of design specifications and development of product specifications to satisfy customer requirements, develop and recommend the system architecture and interfaces of the product, as well as perform trade studies and evaluations of engineering designs and concepts.

Develop integration and test processes and perform integration of system components.

Develop systems integration and test plans and conduct system and subsystem integration tasks, environmental tests, and ground/flight tests (at off-site locations such White Sand Missile Range) of the system to required levels to meet product requirements.

Test planning, monitoring and reporting on tests for the TM/FTS qualification program, coordinating with responsible subject matter experts within LMMFC and with customer counterparts both at the US Government and the Flight Test Range (WSMR),


Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Familiar with integration and testing hardware and systems (eg. production, ground or flight testing; V&V (verification and validation) system; data analysis)

Knowledge of system definition, system integration, verification and validation activities, throughout the life cycle of a product

Knowledge of converting customer or product requirements into systems solutions, including requirement and interface definition, Cost / Risk assessment and Trade Studies

Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired skills
Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Must have good communication skills and able to effectively work in a team environment

Capable of solving complex problems. Able to understand the entire system and the full lifecycle of the product.

Plan system level tests, especially flight test, including coordination with range, and performance analysis. Manage hardware allocation matrix. Oversee integration and test of system from design verification tests through flight test. The candidate should be able to author test plans, test reports, and operating procedures. In addition, the candidate will serve as primary interface between the US Government System Test Representative, WSMR Range, LMMFC Field Team, and Dallas Engineering and program, will be responsible for Missile processing and flight tests at WSMR, test readiness reviews, and test working group meetings with the customer
