We’re looking for an experienced systems engineer with significant integration and test experience. This effort includes:- Defining and building up an integration test bench- Leading the integration of a system subcomponent- Providing HW support for SW and FW integration- Work with mechanical engineers to develop test fixtures- Travel to assist with subcontractor integration and test activities- Mothering the build of subassembly HW; including kitting, assembly, ESS and ATP- Support AUR level assembly integration and testing- Writing test procedures and reports Intimate knowledge of LMMFC systems processes; previous system test development and hardware/firmware/software integration experience; ability to work fast pace and coordinate with electrical/mechanical/software engineers with minimal to no direction. Very well versed in Lab Equipment needed for electrical integration

A Systems Integration Engineer verifies that testable hardware and software modules can be assembled and connected in a manner that achieves the overall system's physical, functional and performance requirements objectives. This responsibility applies to both newly designed developmental items and mature hardware coming off the assembly line. The design verification process is performed to a well- constructed Integration and Test plan derived from requirements generated in DOORS and associated ICD's which validates built-in system performance from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.

Systems Integration Engineers must operate comfortably with all engineering disciplines including software engineers, designers, and production personnel. Interface with suppliers of modules and critical hardware vendors is an important associated activity. The ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinating other system integration participants is of great value in performing these duties. Broad system knowledge including an understanding of the subsystem hardware and software capabilities in servo control, sensor capabilities, emitter capability and permissions for use, intended application, and safety related issues are very important. Customer presentations including performance results and schedule status


Basic Qualifications
A valuable capability for a Systems Integration Engineer is the ability to manage security issues including protection of classified hardware and software, software loading requirements and capabilities, and use and management of associated test equipment

Candidate must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

Desired skills
-Prior experience leading or being a significant technical contributor for programs with aggressive schedules in a dynamic customer environment

-Prior experience presenting at Senior Management and Customer technical/readiness reviews (Mission Success, TRR, FRR)

-Prior experience leading or participating in the Failure Review Board process

-Demonstrated solid communication and technical leadership skills

-Experience with hardware/software integration in both lab and field environment
