Key Functions:


 




Works as part of a team of system engineers, analysts, and Air Traffic Control operational domain experts to help the FAA define and evaluate concepts and automation systems for future air traffic management applications. Applies systems engineering principles and processes to aviation and air traffic control systems and early lifecycle concept engineering/development activities. For example, developing concepts of operation, performing requirements analysis and synthesis, conducting functional analysis and allocation, and performing concept and requirements validation activities related to advanced capabilities that improve the National Airspace System.













Required Qualifications:

 



B.S. or M.S. in Systems Engineering or related engineering degrees (e.g., computer engineering, industrial engineering, engineering management, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering).

 



Preferred Qualifications:

 



B.S. or M.S. in Systems Engineering or related engineering degrees (e.g., computer engineering, industrial engineering, engineering management, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering).


Aviation, Air Traffic Control, and financial analysis knowledge or experience is a plus.
