Job Details

The Candidate will provide support to a classified program in the development and execution of a plan to achieve Airworthiness Certification (AWC) for the vehicle. The successful candidate will be coordinating all AWC activities, including bidding, planning and executing the Statements of Work, as well as serving as the technical and management liaison for AWC. Primary responsibilities is to gather data products required to achieve AWC, including the AWC Program Plan, Tailored / Modified Airworthiness Certification Criteria, TACC / MACC and USAR compliance verification documents, and risk assessments.

Additional responsibilities include establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to AWC master plans and schedules and identifying and resolving programmatic issues. Work with System Safety personnel to develop Non-Compliance Risk Assessments to ensure non-compliant criteria are mitigated in accordance with Customer requirements. The successful candidate should have previous experience in military certification processes and be familiar with MIL-HDBK-516, and MIL-STD-882 and methods to achieve airworthiness certification.

Must be a US Citizen, This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Must have an active Secret Security Clearance with an update within the last 5 years

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Airworthiness Certification

- Experience with system requirements generation

Desired skills
- Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
- Understanding of the aircraft systems engineering, civil and military certification lifecycles
- Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing support plans
- Active SCI Security Clearance
