The Engineering and Technology Systems Engineering Directorate is searching for an experienced engineering leader capable of envisioning and then executing the future state of LM Space product portfolio management. The Product Line Infrastructure (PLI) Portfolio Manager must be highly motivated and able to manage a diverse portfolio of hardware and software products for multiple satellite and missile platforms. Additionally, the PLI Portfolio Manager must have the vision to define and lead LMS Engineering in the realm of Product Line Engineering. The PLI Portfolio Manager will be the main point-of-contact for the Product Line Infrastructure Team with responsibility for sustainment of the Common Product Portfolio (to include roadmap support, change management & obsolescence management), program out-reach and Common Product evaluation, Common Product portfolio status, Common Products communications & training, Common Product Process & SharePoint maintenance. This position is the face for Common Products across the enterprise and will be responsible for ensuring the success of each Line of Business and Program with regard to Common Product selection & usage. They will be the liaison between programs/LOBs and functional directorates, the coordinator for changes between engineering and other MFOs, and generally the facilitator for all Common Product changes. The PLI Portfolio Manager will also be responsible for evaluating the technical adequacy of all Enterprise Qualification Review Board and Enterprise Engineering Review Board topics to include assessment of a products qualification status and clarity of the review package

Basic Qualifications
• Five years of Program Management experience
• Prior experience leading a high level engineering review board (e.g. Failure Review Board, Engineering Review Board or Qualification Review Board)
• Process improvement experience
• Experience coordinating schedules with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience leading a team of distributed engineers
• Configuration Management knowledge

Desired skills
• Prior experience in requirements development, design, development, testing and integration of space and missile hardware
• Obsolescence Management experience
• Mechanical or Electrical Systems Engineering experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
