Systems Engineering Integration and Test engineer to perform onsite system flight test support at China Lake, California

Position is a permanent assignment at China Lake and will support MFC flight tests for IRST, Sniper, and other Fire Control programs.

Systems Engineer will coordinate Lockheed Martin flight test support with government and contractor flight test teams.

Engineer will support pre and post flight debriefs, in-field troubleshooting as necessary, and provide weekly flight test summary reports to the F-18 IRST program (or other program) and technical management.

Basic Qualifications
-Demonstrated prior experience developing/integrating/testing systems in a dynamic customer and range environment

-Demonstrated experience as an integration team leader or significant technical contributor to a technical effort

-Candidate must have previous field experience and good written and oral communications

-Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Desired skills
-Current assignment on an F-18 related effort

-Demonstrated familiarity with LM-MFC development and integration processes

-Prior experience leading projects with aggressive schedules in a dynamic customer environment

-Prior experience with Cost Account Management and Senior Management Technical Reviews (Mission Success, TRR)
