Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Technical Service (TS) Engineer to support our Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) contract. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world
The TS Engineer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Integration and Test (I&T) related tasks performed under SOF GLSS contract. This position is based at the Lexington, KY facility, but may require travel to other integration and test sites (primarily domestic, but some international travel may be needed). The TS Engineer will initially support the rotary mission area, but may occasionally support the fixed wing mission area, as required
The TS Engineer will support the engineering team during requirement definition, design, integration, verification, ground and flight test, and customer support phases of the program. I&T tasks include test planning and coordination, development of test plans, development of detailed test and demonstration procedures, demonstration and test execution, daily communication of progress to program leadership, integration issue identification and troubleshooting, demonstration/test result evaluation, and documentation of demonstration/test results

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with planning, coordinating, and executing electronics and mechanical I&T
• Experience with trouble shooting and resolving issues that can arise during I&T activities
• Experience in evaluating and documenting I&T results
• Proficient in generating I&T work products (Master Test Plan, Demonstration/Test Plans and Procedures, Reports, etc.)
• Experience with presenting I&T information to internal and external team members
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to travel (primarily domestic and occasional international) to perform I&T efforts
• Experience with data collection systems and Instrumentation

Desired skills
• Strong technical background with both electrical and mechanical experience in system design, installation, integration, and testing in field operation, manufacturing, and laboratory environments
• Experience with CAM2 Measure and/or Verisurf software packages
• Experience with Faro laser or equivalent equipment use for mechanical alignment
• System integration and test experience in optical sensor alignment and RF systems and cabling
• Familiarity with rapid response programs
• Experience with the coordination, planning and execution of integration and ground/flight test activities
• Experience in testing US military products and familiarity with military specifications and standards
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, conduct, and direct work operations from detailed schematics, technical publications, and work instructions
• Experience in leading and supporting failure analysis and corrective action activities
• Provided training and guidance to junior engineering technicians during system testing, troubleshooting, and repair
• Experience in developing operational Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Test Plans, routers, and work instructions through Teamcenter
