Job Details

The engineer will support the UKMFTS program in the following aspects. The Engineer will be the main point of contact (POC) between Ascent and LM for SDSR activities. Provide direct input/support to Ascent where possible. Manage the interface back into LM where necessary including obtaining additional information/detail. Support development of Ascent’s SDSR Initial Gate (IG) deliverables. Identification of any key risks, opportunities, assumptions and dependencies related to GBTE. Support development of the SDSR Training Designnthetic training solutions for SDSR. Engagement with Babcock as the 1B Infrastructure and ICT provider. Support pre-RFI industry engagement. Support the development of the GBTE RFI

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

- Experience in working Proposals/BOE/RFIs
- Experience with working with subcontractors and suppliers
- Experience leading a multi-disciplined team through all phases of a product life cycle
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required
- Strong verbal & written communications skills are required
- Strong collaboration skills are required
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office application
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Ability to support international travel

Desired skills
- Familiar with the integration of aircraft system simulation into Rear Crew synthetic training
- Knowledge of Avionics and Aerodynamic principles
- Airborne Radar system/simulation experience
- Airborne Electronic Warfare system/simulation experience
- Anti-Submarine Warfare system/simulation experience
- Defensive Aid System/simulation experience
