This requisition is to fill a need for a System Integration and Analysis position in the C4ISR market segment in C4 Undersea Systems (C4USS) line of business, specifically for the Operational and Tactical C2 portfolio of programs. The candidate will be part of the Engineering & Technology team providing engineering and technical support and leadership across programs, IRADs, and captures

The ideal candidate has a strong Systems Engineering background with experience working with C4ISR technical and cross-functional teams (e.g. Systems, Hardware, Software, I&T, etc.) through the different program lifecycle phases. Strong Command and Control (C2) experience to be applied on joint (air, land, maritime) defense programs, which include mission planning, track management, engagement management, and weapons management

The candidate will possess Technical and Data Analytical skills with expertise in advanced mission system development and a variety of Analytical disciplines. The candidate will provide Systems Engineering and C2 technical expertise for the development, integration and maintenance of a NextGen C4ISR system design and related activities (e.g. demonstrations), specifically for the technologies in the ISR, Multi-Sensor, Joint Battle Management, Integrated Fire Control, Weapons Controls, and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) areas

The candidate will work directly with the Systems Engineering team as well as the System Architect to develop and document requirements as a Subject Matter Expert in Weapons Control and Integrated Fire Controls as well as support the architecture and associated artifacts to document the design. Support planned customer demonstrations showcasing the latest project capabilities which potentially includes working with other RMS sites, other Business Areas and LM Australia staff. Work with the software team to support for the migration/integration of new, innovative technical solutions and capabilities into existing and modern design solutions.

The candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills that will enable them to work with the technical team and the technical and program leadership. Potential domestic and international travel may be required

Basic Qualifications
Subject Matter Expert in Weapons Control and Integrated Fire Control (preferably for the AEGIS platform)

Demonstrated strong technical background in Systems Engineering discipline and methodology, specifically for C4ISR technologies and products

Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering development lifecycle methodologies utilizing Agile framework and work flows

Must be self-motivated, with excellent relationship building skills and must possess effective communication skills, both oral and written

System Integrator experience with big picture System-of-System integration and test.

Modeling and Simulation experience.

Multi-Int domain knowledge of DoD systems.

Ability to lead analytical teams with limited direction

Desired skills
CONOPS development with System of Systems Platforms

Familiarity with DoDAF, SysML, UML

Familiarity with the following tools is a plus: MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, Visio, Matlab, DOORS, Jira, and Confluence

Strong background in Integration and Test/Verification and Validation

Experience optimizing processes and workflows utilizing tools, technology, and people

Ability to engage and partner within industry by leveraging, developing, integrating, and operating end-user, mission-driven, end-to-end solutions
