This position reports to the F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Systems Engineering Manager for the F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will be for a Senior Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME), mainly working Chemical and Biological (Chembio) (JSAM/JSLMT) Aircrew Flight Equipment and other Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) tasks consisting of; management of and Systems integration of Chemical/Biological (Chembio) Joint Services Aircrew Mask/Joint Services Mask Leakage Tester (JSAM/JSMLT) Aircrew Flight Equipment, Pilot Flight Equipment, and other related Support Equipment

Primary duties will include:
- Developing research and maintenance / engineering analysis on F-35 SE (operational level maintenance)
- Leading teams of Engineers in managing multiple contract schedules to completion through concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions addressing technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Provide oversight and submittal of scheduled monthly CDRL deliverables
- Lead schedule and planning meetings with government/customers and adjacent team
- Address status, coordination and prioritization of PFE & ChemBio findings and issues
- Process (vault) through Configuration Management (CM) all related documentation
- Interface and manage JPO (Joint Program Office) expectations, concerns, and all related PFE, and ChemBio issues

The successful candidate will interface with product engineers, military personnel, JPO and SE Leadership to coordinate findings and brief the final solutions to senior leadership. The successful candidate must have experience in either SE or aircraft maintenance in a military flight-line environment. The candidate must have knowledge and experience with military aircraft maintainability fundamentals & analysis; be able to initiate and develop concise formats and generate / present numerical information utilizing computer readouts, graphs, charts, tables, written reports or other methods. The successful candidate must be able to respond quickly and accurately to analysis requests; describe sources of information and limitations on usability; analyze and interpret statistics to point out significant differences in relationships among sources of information; prepare conclusions and forecasts based on data summaries

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. *Must have direct practical experience with Military legacy Chemical and Biological (Chembio) (JSAM/JSLMT) Aircrew Flight Equipment, Pilot Flight Equipment, and Support Equipment. Must have served or worked extensively with U.S. and foreign Military personnel*. Have a working knowledge of Joint Strike Fighter (JSF F35) information technology systems to include:

- Experience with and understanding of:
o Project/Systems Engineering
o Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE)
o Pilot Flight Equipment Chemical Biological
o Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Working knowledge of:
o JTD (Joint Technical Data)
o JDL (JSF Joint Dispersed Library)
o CMMS (Computerized Maint Management System)
o Quality Assurance program
o Aviation safety practices
o Windchill
o ISH Standards (SAE search engine)
- Strong understanding of U.S. and NATO aviation maintenance concepts at both the unit and intermediate levels of maintenance

Desired skills
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment including engineers, aircraft, and support equipment maintenance communities
- Military experience is preferable, with experience in:
o Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE)
o Pilot Flight Equipment Chemical Biological
o Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
o Support equipment/aircraft maintenance
o Quality assurance
o Aviation safety
o Global logistics
- Be familiar with DoD and NATO directives, including Military Standards, Specifications and Handbooks
- Clear understanding of current Ground Support Equipment reliability and maintenance issues
- Experience in procuring, storing, handling and disposing of hazardous material in accordance with OSHA instructions and military directives
- Be Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook (knowledge of NALCOMIS (ALIS/CMMS desired)
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills essential for communicating with customers (internal and external)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
