This Diagnostic System Engineer will be an experienced leader with a background in the design and development of embedded systems and test equipment. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, fast learner with both software and hardware development expertise related to diagnostics, troubleshooting, testing and integration of ground based equipment. The engineering candidate must be capable of leading/coordinating development activities for aircraft diagnostic and health management systems being developed for military and commercial helicopters. The candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and be comfortable executing Research and Development, Production, or Sustainment efforts. The successful candidate will have a strong track record that demonstrates organizational and leadership skills. Other requirements include ability work directly with government customers, coordinate with suppliers and manage project cost/schedule. Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Control Account Management (CAM) is a plus

Basic Qualifications
Basic qualifications for this position include a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or closely related technical field and at least 7 years of applicable professional experience

Desired skills
Project leadership experience in the design and support of diagnostics ground based systems is strongly desired. PCB design experience is preferred. Software design and coding experience in Labview and at least one other common language, such as C or C++ is preferred. Familiarity with aircraft data bus architectures is also desired

An MS degree is preferred. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance is a must
