Job Details

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by supporting the development and maturation of the GBSD Systems Architecture. The selected candidate will develop will be responsible for successful development of the system level requirements. Specifically, the successful candidate will work directly with various program segments/IPTS (AVE, Launch and Weapons Systems Command and Control (WSC2)) to ensure system level requirements are properly developed, map to the Level 2 requirements, and drive the subsystem requirements. A successful candidate will have experience with and also manage the entire project requirements data base in DOORs. Also includes: decomposition of applicable requirements from the AF WSS into the Level 1 CWS includes the development, coordination, decomposition, allocation and maintenance of the Contractor Weapon System Specification (CWSS), the Level 2 Segment specifications, Creation and management of the program specification tree within the WSAM, Generation of the program requirement allocation and traceability matrices, Documentation of the TMRR Technical Baseline Assessment . This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Requirements and Verification development and management
- Working knowledge of system engineering processes to include verification and validation
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools -

Desired skills
- Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with US Strategic Systems
- Experience with Missile Weapons Systems
- Experience with USAF Minuteman III Acquisition and Sustainment
- Broad Experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools.
- Experience with DOORS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Effectively manage change
- Understanding/Experience with SysML and System Architecture Modeling tools (MagicDraw)
