Job Details

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Staff position supports the overall AVE IPT Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Team by supporting the Systems Engineering Mgr. The selected candidate will participate in Working Group meetings, review trade studies results provide input into the development of the System Architecture models and views and provide input to test program related to hardware qualification planning, system test planning and separation analysis test planning. Also this candidate will provide input to test CONOPS development and participate in Engineering Review Boards, Manage utilization of subcontractors supporting Air Vehicle (Missile) Equipment (AVE) Systems Engineering and Integration activities and support the AVE SEIT and WSEIT leaders. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of end-to-end capability modeling, systems architecture and engineering analysis
- Broad experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools.
- Ability to translate end-user experience into systems capabilities and develop requirements through operations analysis
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools -
- Understanding of SysML and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) as it relates to Architecture development
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience

- Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with US Strategic Systems
- Experience with Missile Weapons Systems
- Experience with USAF Minuteman III Acquisition and Sustainment
- Experience with system/archtiecture modeling views (DoDAF)
- Experience with system modeling tools (MagicDraw)
- Experience with DOORS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Effectively manage change
