Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support the development of an Energy Storage System. Development will include:
• Following the product life cycle process through Conceptual, Design & Development, and Alpha/Beta/Gamma production stages.
• System level design documentation, requirements, coordination or leading system analysis such as reliability, safety, FMEA, and compliance/certification
• Design verification and validation planning and execution

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

Systems engineering experience including multidisciplinary collaboration (thermal, mechanical, systems, and electrical areas). Experience areas include Requirements Analysis, Systems Analysis & Design, Process Knowledge, and Systems Integration & Test. Strong Interpersonal Skills, Discerning Communicator. Experience with technical and programmatic interaction with subcontractors

Desired skills
Knowledge of engineering leadership experience across the entire program lifecycle for a commercial product development effort. Ability to work in a multi discipline team focused, dynamic environment. Possess an ability to lead/work all aspects of the systems engineering efforts associated with the development, integration and demonstration of a system solution which complies with all performance requirements through the product life cycle. Experience in one of the following areas: Reliability, Failure Mode and Effects (FMEA) analysis, Safety/Hazard analysis, and Industry Certification (UL preferred)
