Job Details

This position is for a Mission Systems Integration Laboratory (MSIL) Systems Engineer assigned to work on the F-35 Program. The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a full system integrator for the Stimulator System Integration Stations (StimSIS) test lines. The test lines are key test venues for integrating and verifying F-35 Aircraft Mission Systems capability in a laboratory environment. Secondary responsibilities will include development of system requirements, performing verification testing, investigating lab anomalies, and providing user support to the F-35 System Integration and Test Team. This position will include system integration across multiple test lines and test line subsystems. Performance of the responsibilities will require detail knowledge of simulation software, Datalink and Radio Frequency (RF) simulations, and laboratory hardware products, in addition to in-depth knowledge of the F-35 Sensor subsystems. Responsibilities will involve integration planning and execution, resolution of test line anomalies and assessment of new system requirements. Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to the laboratory staff to support integration, operation, and upgrades to the system

Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated familiarity with Radar and Electronic Warfare systems, Real-time Simulation systems and Avionics and Datalink. Also demonstrated experience with performing system integration and verification testing on complex hardware-in-the-loop avionics systems

Desired skills
Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal; and knowledge of F-35 Mission Systems Architecture
Experience with F-35 Integrated Avionics, and System Requirements Analysis; Experience with EO/IR signature; proficient with MATLAB, MS Excel & OpenOffice; scripting language for scenario development; integration on UNIX & Linux based platforms; PostgreSQL Database Management System; understanding of real-time Stimulator integration in a synchronized and RF environment; understanding of EW threats, emitters and EWIR database
Familiar with DOORS, Rhapsody, and Serena Dimensions
Demonstrated working knowledge of avionics sensors, such as radar, electronic warfare, CNI, or IR subsystems
