This position is for a systems engineer on the F35 Level 1 Training System Support Center (TSSC) team at Eglin AFB, FL. The Level 1 TSSC is responsible for Sustainment of the common baselines of fielded Training System elements across the country and around the world. The selected individual will initially be a ‘floating’ member of the TSSC team responsible for learning all TSSC job functions (Change Management, Training Product Team Engineering, Configuration Management, Integration & Test, Logistics, Performance Assessment, and Development Environment Administration) and participating on each team to meet TSSC surge and backfill needs. Training products supported include training infrastructure, instructional design, courseware / syllabi, pilot training devices, and maintainer training devices. While the Level 1 TSSC is headquartered at Eglin AFB, the team supports the global enterprise of pilot and maintainer training centers. International travel will be required. Ability to obtain and maintain F35 program security Program Access is required

Basic Qualifications
• Strong systems engineering background with demonstrated understanding of all phases of product lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and integrate into an existing team structure and become an effective member of the team
• Experience working with United States Government (USG) customers
• Training experience with instructional products and services
• Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment with dynamic priorities and varying work tasks
• Ability to work with cross functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to successfully complete assigned projects involving interaction with multiple other teams with minimal guidance

Must have a Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years

Desired skills
• Familiarity with F35 Training System product structure, architecture and implementation
• Familiarity with F35 Training System change / configuration management and quality processes
• Familiarity with ISD engineering principles and be able to apply to technical analysis and syllabus design efforts supporting courseware and training
device development
