The Space Systems Line of Business (LOB) requires a Systems Engineer for Engineering Baseline Management Group on the FBM Program. Job duties include: Analyzing requirements for Configuration Management documentation, maintaining Operational Directives and Engineering Procedures and assisting in the change control process. Process changes to program and projects baseline in accordance with program procedures. Conducting configuration change boards; managing requirements flowdown, conducting trend analyses; reviewing and releasing engineering in the Windchill tool; validating releases in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), managing access to the EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) and DWH (Data Warehouse) tools; supporting Systems Engineering Management in recurring weekly, and monthly reviews and status meetings. Experience in both Configuration and Data management and Systems Engineering requirements management. Experience with bill of material (BOM) management, technical baseline control, configuration status accounting and configuration audit. Perform CDM in accordance with the contractual requirements, applicable industry standards, and internal command media for Space Systems Company (SSC) and the FBM program. Work with internal program customers to control/maintain configuration data management records in multiple project repositories. Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and planning personnel to track and ensure completion of change implementation activities. Candidate must be able to perform duties with general instructions. Candidate will also be responsible for updating and tracking the closure of Command Media documents. Candidate will perform updates and coordinate with stakeholders outside direct department

*Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role
*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Previous experience with documenting processes, assessment of processes and updating documentation.
Experience with the life cycle of engineering documentation.
Experience with project tracking through from concept to completion. Experience with integrating multiple sources of inputs in to a consensus. Experience in configuration management of hardware deliverables in accordance with industry and government standards, and CMMI models. Experience and knowledge in the use and application of EPDM Windchill; the EPDM to ERP interface; contract technical requirements and requirements management; and MS Office tool suite.
Basic understanding of engineering drawing requirements and ability to review, understand and authorize engineering drawings to production.

*Must have at least a Final Secret Clearance to be considered for this role

Desired skills
MS in Engineering.
Previous experience Engineering Baseline Management or Configuration Management.
Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong history of finishing tasks.
Current DOD Secret Clearance.
Experience with Model Based Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering or CAD a plus.
Presentation, team dynamics, time management, versatility and attention to detail skills are applicable to this job.
Understanding and application of Sharepoint, database tools, and file servers preferred.
Completion of the Central C&DM CTRCME training a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Must be self-motivated, with excellent relationship building skills and must possess good communication skills, both oral and written
