*Position will start immediately and hired candidate will work GBSD program pre-award. In the event an award is not received, the position will continue with similar work supporting the FBM program

*This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. Stf. position supports the Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by leading the development and maturation of the GBSD Systems trades and analyses. Specifically, the candidate will work directly with various program segments/IPTS (AVE, Launch and Weapons Systems Command and Control (WSC2)) to ensure system trades such as Cost-Capability, Survivable Launch, Adaptability, Launch Facility Modernization and Nuclear Certification Impact are properly developed, planned and executed. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing the Weapon System Trade Results Report CDRL supporting the critical Cost-Capability Technical Interchange Meeting (CCTIM) with the US Air Force . This position will also support cross IPT Systems integration activities including IPT SE coordination, and support the Systems Engineering Reviews preparation and execution (e.g., SRR, SFR, 9QTIMM, PDR)

Basic Qualifications
'- Working knowledge of system engineering processes to include verification and validation
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal customers
- Experience with requirements data base tools
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools -
- Experience with system engineering missile systems
- The candidate must possess a DoD Secret Clearance

Desired skills
- Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with US Strategic Systems
- Understanding of MBSE processes, principles and tools
- Experience with USAF Minuteman III Acquisition and Sustainment
- Broad experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools.
- Experience with DOORS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Effectively manage change
- Understanding of SysML and MBSE
