Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program


This position is with the historic ADP, Skunk Works, team in Palmdale, California. We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the Systems Engineering effort on various advanced programs. Interaction with program customers and management will be a given, as well as the ability to lead all phases and aspects of system engineering including requirements decomposition, tracking, verification and validation, risk management and system architecture. Experience with leading the various required reviews and generating documentation artifacts is a must. Must have experience with hands on leadership of a high performing team

Must have a final Secret with a Background investigation within the last five years to start and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor OR above Degree in a Engineering Discipline
- Experience with Systems Architecture development and documentation
- Extensive background in personally performing Systems Engineering activities
- Must have a Secret with a Background investigation within the last five years to start

Desired skills
- Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
- Experience with requirements flow-down, tracking, validation and verification
- Experience with proposal or Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) preparation
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Experience with planning and schedules
- Must be able to interface with the customer
- Experience leading an engineering team to successful project completion
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts and provide technical direction
