*Position will start immediately and hired candidate will work a similar assignment on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program pre-award. In the event an award is not received, the position will continue with similar work supporting the FBM program.*

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by supporting the development and maturation of the GBSD Systems error model for the Weapons System. Tasking includes development and maintenance of a Weapon System Error Budget and Rationale, and a Weapon System Test and Analysis Plan. The successful candidate will integrate, coordinate reviews and maintain the modeling data into the Weapons Systems Data book. This modeling encompasses multiple level error effects, including environmental, and will be coordinated across suppliers, and IPTs. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of end-to-end capability modeling, systems architecture and engineering analysis
- Broad experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools.
- Ability to translate end-user experience into systems capabilities and develop requirements through operations analysis
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools -
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience

Desired skills
- Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with US Strategic Systems
- Experience with Missile Weapons Systems
- Experience with USAF Minuteman III Acquisition and Sustainment
- Experience with DOORS
- Understanding of SysML and system architecture modeling tools (Magic Draw)
- TBD other tool experience
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Effectively manage change
