Job Details

This position Is located at Hill AFB Utah, and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. position supports the GBSD Missile Operations and Sustainment Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing the requirements for the Missile Procedures Trainer (MPT), and the development of the Training System Plan, which is part of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP). The Training Systems Plan describes the approach for development, delivery, management, and sustainment of all GBSD training equipment, services, certifications, and facilities to create a fully functional training product. The MPT effort will include evaluating software packages, design discussions for GBSD non-training software products, and documentation of the trainer unique requirement deltas The plan shall delineate all phases of training and related tasks, and shall describe plans for configuration management and concurrency of all training devices and software. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017

Basic Qualifications
'- Knowledge and experience with Requirements and Verification development and management
- Knowledge and experience with Operations and Sustainment of Strategic Weapons Systems
- Demonstrated experience with requirements data base tools (DOORS, etc.) -
- Experience with system engineering missile systems
- Working knowledge of system engineering processes to include verification and validation
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal customers
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools -

Desired skills
'- Experience with Operations, Sustainment and Training on US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
- Experience with US Strategic Systems
- Experience with USAF Program Execution, HAFB experience a plus
- Experience with Missile Weapons Systems
- Experience with USAF Minuteman III Training, Acquisition and Sustainment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Effectively manage change
