An accomplished Systems RF Design and Analysis engineer is needed to lead the development and implementation of RF signal processing algorithms for an advanced sensor subsystem. The sensor subsystem will be designed, built, and tested by a subcontractor to a provided Performance Based Specification. The Systems RF Design and Analysis engineer will provide oversight of sensor algorithm design as well as oversight of subsystem integration and test activities at the subcontractor's facilities. This oversight will require coordination of sensor algorithm development and test activities with functional, program management, and customer personnel. Coordination with the subcontractor will be required for updates to the algorithm portion of a Performance Based Specification. The Lead Systems RF Design and Analysis engineer must be capable of effectively interfacing with multiple functional groups including design, subcontracts, and planning organizations as well as effectively interfacing with quality personnel during the assembly and inspection process. Coordination of signal processing algorithm performance trade studies employing an integrated flight simulation (IFS) capability will be required. Travel will be required to support customer coordination and qualification testing efforts at the subcontractor’s facilities.

A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial

Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value. Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired. The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable. Experience with Simulink is desired. Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling


Basic Qualifications
Signal processing experience is required

A current secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years is required

Desired skills
Simulink and MATLAB experience are of significant benefit. Excellent communication skills are beneficial
