The selected engineer will be technical and program support to the Navy Reentry Systems programs. The selected candidate will also be expected to perform in a Project Management role. The selected engineer will be required to work with co-contractors, the customer and all groups within Lockheed Martin Reentry system to ensure telemetry requirements are achieved during a flight test to ensure collection of Reentry Body performance data. Required to problem solve and communicate technical issues effectively

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related field from an accredited college
* Demonstrated Project Management experience
* Experience with requirements definition, verification and validation
* Experience with with Budget and Schedule assessments
* Experience with authoring technical requirements, plans or procedures
* Experience with qualification of hardware to production
* US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance
* Demonstrated experience coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, systems, flight sciences, materials, manufacturing, test, etc.)

Desired skills
* Master's degree in Engineering, from an accredited college or equivalent education and experience
* Experience with every stage of product life cycle
* Experience with Navy customer
* Experience in a customer interfacing role
* Knowledge of and experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Programs' Reentry Systems' architectures, processes and products
* Previous Project Leadership Experience as well as Program/Project Planning
* Excellent interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management and peers is required.
* Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
* Demonstrated strong problem solving skills
* Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple efforts concurrently
