This position Is located in Orlando, Florida, and supports the Long Range Stand Off (LRSO) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. Staff position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Team by performing as the Nuclear Certification and Surety Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination development and execution of the Nuclear Certification and Nuclear Surety activities to include Nuclear Certification Impact Statement, Basic Certification Requirements Plan, Nuclear Surety Management Plan, Initial Nuclear Safety Assessment Report and Nuclear Certification Impact Trade Study Compatibility and overall Certification Plan. This position will interface with program and customer Safety Center leadership and will be responsible for overall program understanding and adoption of the Nuclear Surety process requirements to enable successful nuclear certification. The successful candidate must possess active DoD security clearance with investigation within the last 5 years.
This position will start in September of 2017, commensurate with start up of the TMRR contract

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Nuclear Surety and Certification processes
- Knowledge of Nuclear Surety Architecture requirements and approaches
- Understanding and experience with AF nuclear certification AFMAN requirements
- Understanding of design implications related to Nuclear certification
- Experience with system engineering missile systems
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college
