Looking for a talented, highly motivated Systems Engineer with technical project leadership experience to join the protected satellite communications team. The AEHF SEIT team supports both the AEHF Production and COOLS sustainment contracts.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading and providing System Level oversight for System Requirement Review (SRR), System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) or Critical Design Review (CDR) for a new hardware baseline design change on AEHF
- Coordinating/authoring a Verification Plan and Verification Report for the new hardware design change on AEHF
- Performing reviews to ensure the baseline design meets existing requirements: Requirements Verification Plan (RVP), Engineering Memos, Reliability Analysis, and simulation test results
- Processing required changes through Working Groups and Configuration control board
- Providing system level expertise on Protected Satellite communications
- Contributing to the development of a number of specifications (CONOPS, architecture, requirements, ICDs and integration plans) to support the procurement, development and integration of the SATCOM system

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Military Space Communication systems or similar aerospace program
- Demonstrated experience with system level reviews such as System Requirement Review (SRR), System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) or Critical Design Review (CDR)
- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering/Integration and ability to work as part of a technical team
- Demonstrated experience with Requirement Verification Plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management and peer
- Demonstrated technical leadership including planning, scheduling and execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance

- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
