The selected candidate must be familiar with the full Systems Engineering lifecycle to include concept development, systems architecture, requirements development and derivation, integration, test, and verification and validation

Provide requirements support across multiple projects within programs. A qualified candidate will be able to understand the scope of the program and work across IPTs to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements. Understanding of requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, traceability, verification through sell-off, and metrics based on customer provided specification, industry standards, and military standards/handbooks. The ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans is a must. Candidate will work with senior engineers to provide documents to convey customer and supplier(s) requirement relationships

Candidate will establish and maintain requirements baselines within DOORS, derive lower level requirement specifications, and develop and maintain Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
Must be a US Citizen. At a minimum must have an interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain a final clearance

Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with the systems engineering life cycle and processes
Demonstrated experience with requirements decomposition, development, tracking, verification and validation.
Demonstrated experience with systems engineering metrics
Demonstrated experience with Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
Demonstrated experience with bringing products through Integration and Test
Basic understanding of and ability to work with various engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Safety, Reliability, etc.)
Experience with product design and development to Military Standards
Experience with performing testing in laboratory environments for data acquisition and analysis compliant to Military Standards
Experience with MS Office (Word, PPT, Project, Visio)
Experience with MATLAB
Must demonstrate oral and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, or related Engineering degree

Desired skills
Experience developing interface requirements
Experience developing a Systems Architecture
Experience with SysML
Experience with project planning activities, scheduling tasks, and defining risk and opportunity
Experience writing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Engineering Requirements Documents (ERDs) for Subcontracts and Vendors
Previous interaction with customers and program management
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
Familiarity with specialty engineering areas such as Safety, Human Factors, Reliability, and Maintainability
Experience in responding to requests for proposals, providing engineering estimates and generating basis of estimates
Experience in simultaneously supporting multiple programs
Experience communicating across engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, test, reliability, safety)
