Job Details

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
The selected candidate will be a member of a team supporting mission systems at CONUS and OCONUS field sites with the opportunity to travel to these locations
The selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Coordinate and work jointly with various Program Managers, customer organizations, and partners
Responsible for employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary decisions, recognition and disciplinary action if required
Develop a team that is highly valued, ethical, and responsive to needs of the customer
Interpret customer requirements and design, create, integrate, deploy, and maintain solutions that include computer hardware & software, collection systems, networking systems, secure communication systems for deployment/operation to remote locations.
Provide Engineering support for Concepts of Operations, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Review, and Deployment Readiness Reviews
Provide engineering guidance for Technical Task Orders and Subtasks to project team members
Responsible for using/adapting/creating system engineering processes and procedures that are flexible enough to meet timelines and schedules for various customer requirements
Create solutions that can be controlled, monitored, and troubleshoot remotely while maintaining high availability
Coordinate engineering support and maintenance/sustainment 24 hours per day 7 days a week across multiple projects, systems, customer sets, and locations
Provide leadership and mentoring to teams of engineers that support multiple customer sets across many disciplines including computer engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, networking engineering, and system administration
Oversees the status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives
Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers
Work with multiple vendors/subcontractors to resolve complex problems with solutions that include new technologies/products for integration into current and future system solutions
Design, develop, and test component(s), system(s), or solution (s) built/created by a vendor or subcontractor that can be procured and integrated into current or future system solutions for operational deployment and sustainment
Use common components and systems across solutions and customers whenever possible considering capabilities, cost and schedule

Basic Qualifications
Outstanding business area and current customer credibility and relationships – seven (9) years
Must meet the customer common labor category requirements for a direct billing position on the program – seven (9) years
Experience leading a variety of technical resources across multiple disciplines in support of Collections and SIGINT programs – seven (9) years
Demonstrated leadership skills managing deployment schedule, and technical personnel – seven (9) years
Display flexibility and agility in responding to business needs pertaining to staffing, plans for technology roadmaps and workforce planning needs.
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
