Job Details

The systems engineering responsibilities include ensuring maximum system value is captured in the design and meets the customer and program defined requirements to enable the accurate delivery of the systems full capability under all required conditions through the development of sensor algorithms, control algorithms and CONOPS. This is accomplished through development of mission design analysis utilizing system capabilities, requirements development and analysis, spacecraft design integration, verification and tests development, system review coordination, planning, and execution, support of system testing, and engineering configuration and control. Perform trade studies and support issue resolution teams. Support model based engineering. The Systems Engineer coordinates collaborative development activities between the component development teams and users in a pro-active manner

Basic Qualifications
Experience with developing high-level engineering concepts and designs consistent with product requirements and customer considerations.
Prior experience on working on cost/schedule constrained projects.
Ability to perform complex system trades and analysis.
Excellent level of skills and experience in relevant technologies.
Possess high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, strong work ethic and an ability to work well under pressure.

f. On-Orbit operations.
6. Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
7. Effectively manage:
a. change,
b. identify issues, and
c. work with stakeholders to develop solutions.
8. Proven ability to identify and exploit on-program growth opportunities
9. Experience with model based engineering (MBE) tools to include
a. Model Center,
b. Rhapsody,
e. STK,
f. Java,
g. IronPython programing
h. and other MBE tools
- Current TS/SCI
- Prior experience with small satellite development
