The Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station (AF DCGS) family of programs is seeking mid level systems engineer to work modernization through sustainment activities.

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the engineering team that is responsible for:
- Supporting development and analysis of system requirements
- Developing CONOPS and design documentation
- Conducting subsystem and system integration and test
- Developing, preparing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures
- Participating in discrepancy investigation and resolution activities
- Preparing systems engineering documentation such as CDRLs, trade study reports, white papers, tech volumes, etc
- Participating in technical discussions and readiness review events
- Perform project management responsibilities, such as schedule and cost management
- Develop and execute test procedures
- Capture test results and develop test reports
- Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience developing new business plans and supporting strategic initiatives

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Candidate should have experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation, requirements analysis, requirements development, requirements verification, test plan and test case development, and system lifecycle management. Candidate should have experience working in an agile environment

Desired skills
Familiarity with AF Distributed Common Ground Systems (AF DCGS) is a plus • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity • Candidate should have experience working in an agile environment • Experience working with multiple system baselines simultaneously • Knowledge of Microsoft products: VISIO, Project and PowerPoint • Knowledge of Agile Processes and Open Architecture (OA) systems and designs • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
