Job Details

10+ years’ experience managing and maintaining a large technical team on complex development programs. Exceptional team building, leadership, interpersonal, and project planning skills. Superior understanding of the engineering life cycle, as well as experience with network infrastructure design and integration. Experience working in multi-subcontractor team environment. Ability to access technology and process improvements and brief recommendations to senior leadership. Leadership experience on a complex DoD development program is strongly desired

Basic Qualifications
The position is for the C2BMC Network Systems Engineering Lead with task and scheduling responsibility for a network staff of approximately 40+ network designers, developers and sustainers. Specific responsibilities include:
- Support multiple Task Order (TO) Program Managers by assigning tasks to resources to meet TO requirements and task schedules.
- Act as the Network liaison to the Systems Engineer (SE) Functional Area (FA) for all Network related issues: review and update requirements, identify and address design issues, and coordinate process reviews
- Coordinate integration efforts between Network resources and Integration Lead prior to release of Network artifacts
- Act as a mentor for the Network staff, identifying opportunities to expand skills for personnel across the TOs
- Perform as a Development SME, providing insight and recommendations to program leadership on technical and programmatic issues.
- Develop, coordinate, maintain and continuously improve the common set of functional processes and metrics for Development activities across all Task Orders.
- Provide technical expertise resources during the development of Engineering Estimates, ROMs, ECPs, and proposals.
- Perform duties as the Deputy FAM as needed during the primary’s absence

Desired skills
Primary duties will comprise 75% to 100% allocation directly supporting development efforts in the network team. Depending on external demands placed on the NET FAM, candidate may support as the Deputy FAM for no more than 25% of their time. Needs to be able to nail jello to the wall. Additional efforts will be in support of DEV and TO leadership to identify task conflicts and resolve scheduling issues
