Job Details

This position support the SBIRS program System Engineering team with an emphasis on hardware system architecture. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in large and/or complex system design to include downlink, RF, serial/IP data, networking, crypto, modems, processing, storage and other pertinent technologies. The candidate should be familiar with or have experience with current hardware technologies - in particular, VM/virtualization and hyperconverged technologies. In addition to the above, it is also expected the candidate will be familiar with standard systems engineering processes and practices to include deficiency reporting, requirements development, analysis, decomposition and baselining activities. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a team environment. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates, participate in customer design reviews, demonstrations, briefings, metrics collection, assignment distribution, status collection, DOORS administration and Clear Case / Clear Quest support as needed

Basic Qualifications
-Experience with Requirement development/baselining
-Ground System development
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
-Experience with Deficiency Reporting process

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance, with a final secret required to start
