Job Details

Avionics System (Mission System) Integration & Test engineer, responsible for performance of avionics system integration test and support of flight test for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) F-22 aircraft programs. This assignment includes laboratory System Integration
testing and Avionics Integration flight testing of Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI), Data Link, Radar/Sensors, Stores/Weapons, Displays, and Mission Computer systems. Tasks/Responsibilities will include test planning, development of laboratory checkout test procedures, conduct of avionics system integration lab testing and analysis of test data/results, development of aircraft flight test objectives and procedures, support of avionics flight test onsite at US Air Force Test Centers, and performance of formal system verification testing. The position also includes the support of other IPT-activities as required

Ability to work non-standard shifts to support lab schedules is required. Off-site work to support lab integration testing is required

Must be a US Citizen. Position requires active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain program access

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering

• Experience with F-22 integration testing and data analysis

• Experience working with system requirements including pilot vehicle interface, avionic system interface, and vehicle system interface

Desired skills
• Excellent technical and communications skills (verbal & written)

• Experienced and proficient in problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite applications, Document Processors, Databases, technical graphics, etc
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology

Demonstrated experience, typically 2-5 years, in the following:
• Avionics System Requirements analysis
• Development of Avionics System Integration Test Procedures
• F-22 Avionics System Integration Test
• Avionics System troubleshooting and analysis of test data
• Avionics System Integration & Test of A/A weapons (A120 preferred), sensors, and Data Link systems
• Automated test and data analysis tools (e.g., Matlab)
• Support of Avionics System Integration Flight Test
