This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. L&TS a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.

This position is for a Systems Engineering position that will assist on various programs within L&TS, primarily dealing with the man-in-the-loop (MITL) labs. The primary set of responsibilities for this position include performing requirements analysis, requirements documentation, developing estimates based on system requirements, developing verification and validation plans based on systems requirements, system design, and systems integration. Responsibilities will include frequent communication with team members and stakeholders

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires a Secret security clearance, with a current background investigation

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering-related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system verification and validation plan development, system integration and verification

Desired skills
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering-related field
- Experience working in a laboratory environment
- Experience with man-in-the-loop virtual simulators
- Experience with quality assurance, risk and opportunity management
- Knowledgeable using the following tools: DOORS, Visio
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong oral written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated
