The APEX team within Lockheed Martin SSC’s Mission Solutions business area is looking for System Administrators to augment our Agile Teams in support of our programs and R&D efforts. As a member of a high-performing team the selected candidate must be passionate about their trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. The responsibilities of this role include:

- Supporting the IT infrastructure with Systems Administration tasks including Linux installation, configuration and administration as well as LDAP administration and system provisioning

- Creating and utilizing products, utilities, scripts, and tools to automate provisioning, builds, deployment, and testing

- Maintaining development & testing environments and production-equivalent staging environments

- Troubleshooting operational tests, releases, software defects, and other issues

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for reinstatement required

At least 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, DevOps Support, and/or Network Administration

Must have strong teamwork skills

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Redhat Enterprise Linux installation, configuration, and administration

System provisioning tool (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.) experience including scripting for automation, configuration control or provisioning

LDAP (or similar) administration experience

Desired skills
VMware vSphere (ESXi & vCenter) installation, configuration, and administration

Hardware support for HP & Dell servers, workstations, and storage systems

Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.e. STIG & DSS compliance, documentation, etc

Boeing HardWare Wall experience

Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AWS based systems

Experience configuring and maintaining network devices (switches, firewalls, etc.)

Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum or Kanban team
