The Space Protection Program Systems Engineer for the Systems Engineering & Integration Team, reporting to the SEIT Lead, is responsible for supporting the development of the system architecture and design; ensuring the integration and implementation of efficient system engineering processes across Space, Ground and Payload teams from program origination through preliminary design review, and with the potential for continuation into subsequent lifecycle phases, through system deployment and initial operations

Critical responsibilities may include performing the following:
• System requirement analysis and decomposition
• System architecture development and modeling
• Interface definition and development
• Requirement verification
• System trade study definition/execution
• TPM analysis
• Test requirement and procedure development
• Collaborate with customer and LM enterprise to tailor and produce compliance requirements to align with program objectives
• Risk and opportunity management
• Proposal development
• Coordinating and collaborating with other IPTs, LM2100 COE, suppliers, and customers to ensure success of the SEIT organization

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in engineering, math, physics or other related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience with requirements definition, verification and validation
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, systems, flight sciences, materials, manufacturing, test, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Must have working experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD)
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance with an investigation within 5 years
