Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs


This position is with the Skunk Works Mission Systems and Software team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The specific focus of this position is to participate in the integration of an aircraft Navigation system

The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing team supporting a special program and will be expected to have a strong working knowledge of how INS & GPS units operate, Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) GPS, GPS M-Code, and how military navigation systems inter-operate with civil aviation air traffic management systems

The candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent internal interactions with project leads and other software engineers in the group. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities may be required

Additionally, selected applicant must have at least a Secret clearance to start
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or above degree in a STEM-related field
Experience with systems integration

Desired skills
Experience with integration of aircraft INS/GPS is preferred
Avionics systems and embedded processing knowledge
Prior experience working for a hardware IPT or Systems Integration & Test is preferred
Experience with flight testing of aircraft mission systems

Must also demonstrate the following:

• Oral and written communication skills
• Basic financial and business acumen
• Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver results for the business in partnership with program managers and other functional disciplines/organizations as needed
• Demonstrated experience using standard office software tools/ solutions e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ability to travel
