This is an opportunity to work in a SE position on the EADGE-T program as a Systems Engineer. Responsibilities include systems requirement analysis and decomposition, development of Acceptance Criteria, ICD definition, requirements verification, COTS product evaluation and trade study definition/execution. Responsible for interface control during development activities and for the integration and test planning necessary to verify that system requirements have been realized at all levels of development. Other duties include: a) Perform engineering assessment of systems or subsystems using methodologies and techniques appropriate to the systems engineering discipline, including risk management, requirements management, and reliability analysis; b) Provide expert advice and support during the entire life cycle from the specification and analysis of requirements, through the design of the software, procurement, and integration and test; c) Identify and solve technical problems during all phases. Develop technical reports and documentation

Basic Qualifications
Should possess educational background and some level of work experience applicable to systems engineering tasks. Strong ability to work as a member of a small highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. The position requires an individual with the ability to work on technical problems and to provide innovative solutions. The preferred candidate must work under general supervision, have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Candidate must also be a proven self-starter with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and independently determine the approach to develop solutions. Candidate must be able to work with a diverse team of highly skilled engineers, including senior engineers and subcontractors. Candidate must have good communication skills and work well in a team environment
Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to the customer’s work schedule

Desired skills
Familiarity with DOORs is desirable. Familiarity with MS Office applications; excellent written and oral communication skills, including preparing and presenting briefings for customer/executive management as well as communications between engineering functional skills
