Experienced Systems Engineer performing systems integration and verification for the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program with a Flight Science team.

The job duties will include:

-Providing oversight and integration across all disciplines to all LM CMC IPTs including Special Test Vehicles and
AIMs, Support Equipment, Missile System Verification, Fleet Implementation, IA&T Ops, and SWS Facilities Planning and Integration
- Providing oversight for all missile system requirements to ensure adequate data is collected and analysis is performed for verification/compatibility to ensure proper integration of the missile into the Strategic Weapon System
- Providing support to CMC working and planning groups including attending meetings, developing support plans to the working groups and integrating across the CMC program to resolve action items
- Working as part of the CMC verification team to define the Missile Integrated Test and Analysis Plans and ensuring integration of test and analysis requirements across the program
- Preparing and presenting technical status and issues to management

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role
*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

* Experience with Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, requirements/interface definition and analysis, systems integration, verification and validation planning and execution

* Demonstrated knowledge in Systems design, systems build, and systems test processes

* Experience writing technical papers/analyses and developing/presenting technical presentations

*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Desired skills
*Strong systems integration and verification background based in modeling and simulation and demonstrated experience integrating large complex systems among several large organizations and locations

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, provide effective presentations and interface directly with the customer

*Self-motivated, self-starter, team oriented, and must enjoy engaging and interfacing with a broad group of stakeholders

*FBM technical experience to include working knowledge of the D5LE system and Strategic Weapon Systems (SWS) technical branches

*Major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) experience

*Experience preparing program technical position memos that will be forwarded to the government customer

*Mechanical or Electrical or Mathematical Engineering experience

*Model based engineering experience

*Familiarity with development of physical and analytical models

*Ability to make objective decisions from diverse input and opinions

*Experience with requirements tools (e.g. DOORS)
