The selected candidate will support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS) program as a Systems Engineering Associate Manager responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 to 15 Systems Engineers, assisting with execution of the site SE strategy, and maturing the Systems Engineering culture at the Orlando MST site. In this dynamic role, the Systems Engineer Assc Mgr will be responsible for day-to-day managerial duties for his/her team while working with SE, functional, and program leadership to align current Model Based System Design (MBSD) practices and methods within the ALIS Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in order to more effectively engage customers, stakeholders, and drive the development of key SE design artifacts to ensure that the system design accurately and effectively communicates the vision of the ALIS customer base and stakeholders.

Responsibilities also include determining/managing risks and opportunities, supporting advancements in the use of the Enterprise Architect (EA) tool for specific program needs, assisting with modeling efforts through the use of SysML/UML, supporting system-level integration and verification activities, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with our interfacing partners

Basic Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Systems Modeling and Design (SysML) methods and experience working with an enterprise-level toolset
- Knowledge of MBSD concepts
- Strong applied Systems Engineering experience, preferably in a software development environment
- Experience engaging dynamic teams in a rapid software development environment while utilizing industry leading tools such as DOORS, EA, Confluence, and JIRA
- Strong communicator with prior experience leading cross discipline teams
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired skills
- JSF ALIS experience
- familiarity with Agile development
- experience with Information and Data modeling
- report scripting via tool API using VB, DXL, etc
- experience following product implementation through the full life cycle
- experience managing requirements in DOORs
