Job Details

This requisition is for Systems Engineers that may perform a variety of roles across several contracts. Individual positions may include Technical Advisor, 24X7 rotating shift console operations, Data Analysis or a variety of positions within the Systems Engineering domain. During the initial training period the successful candidate will learn 24/7 operations or support and concurrently may support operations tools creation, data analysis and maintenance. Most positions will provide direct support to 24/7 operations. If working in a 24/7 role the candidate will become certified in entry level and advanced positions. Once certified in an advanced position the individual may join 24/7 crew and be responsible for ensuring the execution of planned activities and taking corrective actions in response to anomalies and system degradations or failures. Perform analysis of segment and interfaces to ensure system is operating nominally. Interfaces with internal and cross-site personnel to conduct mission operations. Acquires, applies and disseminates technical skills and job knowledge to accomplish assigned tasks. Position requires completion of formal training program and certification to perform duties

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

TS/SCI Clearance is required prior to starting employment

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Intelligence Studies or related disciplines.
Willingness to work rotating shifts
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and be subject to a polygraph

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Desired skills
- 24/7 work experience
-SIGINT or GEOINT experience
- Matrix mathematics, vector analysis, and an understanding of physics, including the application of conservation of energy and angular momentum
- Knowledge of: feedback control systems, direction cosine matrix, Euler angles, quaternion math, and classic mechanics
- Experience with astrodynamics and orbital mechanics including classical orbital (Keplerian) elements
- Strong math background and STK experience are a plus
- Proficient in basic coding skills in at least one programming language plus any of the following: MATLAB, PERL, C/C++, SQL, HTML, and UNIX/LINUX
-Experience establishing customer intimacy
-Problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work across sites in a multi-contractor team
- Understanding of RADAR systems and concepts
- Understanding of Cartography
