This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. L&TS a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues

The successful candidate will be a part of the F-35 Labs and Technical Services System Engineering team assigned to work on the F-35 Simulation Laboratory projects. This position requires an experienced candidate with extensive process management and implementation experience. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, enforcing and guiding implementation of effective engineering policies, standards, processes and methodologies that are applicable to program specific requirements and compliant with appropriate organizational process. Candidate will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the all relevant lifecycle phases from mission analysis/stakeholder needs analysis through system delivery and operational support. Responsible for establishing plans, processes and procedures for defining, controlling and publishing the baseline requirements at all levels of the product development process and ensuring all processes and procedures are being followed. Candidate will support internal and government audits and coordinate contract deliverables

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires a Secret security clearance

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree required
-Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification, and/or validation
-Experience with either complex simulation systems, or aircraft sensor subsystems

Desired skills
- Man-in-the-Loop Simulation Experience
- Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture, and subsystems
