The Candidate will provide support to programs to develop and execute plans to achieve Airworthiness Certification (AWC). The successful candidate will be coordinating all AWC activities, including bidding, planning and executing the Statements of Work, as well as serving as the technical and management liaison for AWC. Primary responsibilities are to generate and manage data products required to achieve AWC, including the AWC Program Plan, Tailored / Modified Airworthiness Certification Criteria, and USAF compliance verification documents, and risk assessments. Additional responsibilities include establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to AWC master plans and schedules and identifying and resolving programmatic issues. Work with System Safety personnel to develop Non-Compliance Risk Assessments to ensure non-compliant criteria are mitigated in accordance with Customer requirements. The successful candidate should have previous experience in military certification processes and be familiar with MIL-HDBK-516, MIL-STD-882, and FAA / commercial standards and methods to achieve airworthiness certification

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

**Selected applicant must have a Current / Active SECRET Clearance with a Background Investigation with the last five years.**

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor or above Degree in an Engineering or Technical or related field

• Experience with the Systems Engineering processes

Desired skills
• Experience with Air Worthiness Processes, MIL-HDBK-516 or FAA equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing support plans
• Understanding of the aircraft Systems Engineering, civil and military Certification lifecycles
• Familiarity with major aircraft subsystems, and associated regulations
• Experience with Requirements Generation and Decomposition
• Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose Requirements
