This role is for the Principal F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Training Systems Architect. The JSF Training Systems Architect will partner with business development and the customer to establish and maintain the long term vision for JSF Training Systems products and services. The Architect will oversee individual training system product architects to drive solutions that meet our long term vision and needs. The architect will develop architecture presentations in training systems, including the continuum of pilot and maintenance training devices and simulators, the design of the F-35 schoolhouse, and the sustainment of software. The Training Systems Architect will support new business efforts, the training product line, new site planning, and product support engineering at the deployed sites. The Training systems Architect will also help with root cause analysis of customer problems. This position will require travel to domestic and international customer sites

Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline with at least 20 years of professional and/or military experience

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who has a proven history of working with customers to customize solutions.

The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of product lifecycles and experience with technology insertion and/or refresh

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven success as a systems engineer or a systems architect

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who has the ability to think creatively and define and communicate ideas to various stakeholder groups

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in a systems engineering, systems architecture, software architecture or related role

Must hold a minimum of a Secret security clearance to be considered

Desired skills
A Masters Degree in Systems Architecture with more than 18 years of professional experience

A deep understanding of Training Systems and/or simulation architectures

Experience as a Fighter Pilot or Maintainer

A Systems Architecture Certification or Qualification

Experience with business development, business capture and military sales
