System Administrator is responsible for providing the overall on-site maintenance and support of the system. The System Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for any questions or concerns raised by the ALIS system users.

Administrative responsibilities include updating systems and software consistent with the Patch Management Plan, performing backup and recovery, and monitoring system performance. In case of a security incident, the System Administrator assists Security in investigating the incident, assessing system impacts, and restoring the system to normal operation.

System Administrator will perform duties to include the following: Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery, Hardware/System Monitoring, System/Software/User Maintenance.

The System Administrator is considered an emerging authority

The selected candidate will work directly with the leadership of the ALIS Sustainment, Development, and Test teams to ensure success of meeting the goals in the overall ALIS IMS and the individual project schedules

The selected candidate will also interface with the control account manager (CAM) for the ALIS Administrators support budget and will be responsible for supporting the EVMS business rhythm which includes performance reviews, EAC assessments, VAR reports, and risk assessments

Basic Qualifications
1) System Administration process background (Account creation/management)
3) System Administration experience
4) Strong written and oral communication skills
5) COTS/developed Software Skills
6) Must be willing to support 3rd shift and weekend work
7) Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident
8) Must have current Secret Special Access Required clearance

Desired skills
- Experience with ALIS Architecture
- Experience with ALIS Administration Operations
- Familiarity with existing LM products and processes
- B.S. Computer Engineering
