Lockheed Martin is seeking candidate to provide operations support to a 24 x 7 watchdesk supporting mission essential systems. Provide expertise in system engineering/systems administration of large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems in an operational environment. Provide overall system engineering/administration familiarity, expertise, and support in the architecture, design, development, requirements, analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation or testing of the program. A strong understanding of data flow and processes associated is important. Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
WatchDesk: Provide support to the watchdesk, monitor, develop and ensure compliance with systems and operational SOPs. Respond to complex or non-routine user questions on a variety of systems issues to include analytic operations. Monitor the health and status of the systems; provide password support; assist with technical issues with the systems tools; forward complex system questions and training issues to appropriate points of contact; follow up to ensure questions have been answered; and document problems and resolutions through a tracking program. This position is shift and may be required to augment other shifts occasionally

Basic Qualifications
•Experience with programs encompassing system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution, evaluation and strong Systems Administrator skills with large, complex, systems directly supporting mission.
Experience in developing and supporting strategic and implementation plans as well as operating systems based on those plans for large-scale information systems. Large-scale information system is defined as having at least one of the following characteristics: (a) Over 1000 users; (b) Over 100 sensors; (c) Over 1000 entities in the information model as represented by an Entity Relationship diagram or UML; or (e) Over 20 distinct physical subsystems.

Experience in the following:
-Support and design of and for complex collection systems.
Experience in the following operating systems: Linux or UNIX, and Windows
-Performing system analysis and troubleshooting
-Oral and written communications
-Analyze system performance
-Using and understanding existing system architectures and designs documentation including: software, hardware, communications, and interface control documents.
-Performing system audits to ensure intended system functionality and operation and performance requirements are achieved

Desired skills
Minimum seven years with Intelligence Community or SIGINT activity.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Self-starter, capable of working both independently and in team environments
Experience in the following operating systems: Red Hat, Linux, Centos, UNIX, Solaris, Windows, LDAP, VMware, JIRA, Puppet, Hadoop, JBoss, and Java
-Leading systems definition, trade-off studies, and design activities
-Leading analysis of system requirements and components
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
