Become an integral part of the Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) P220 team tackling solutions for a nationally critical spacecraft system/mission. The program spans the entire life cycle from preliminary design through delivery on orbit, allowing you to influence the success of this important space mission. Job Description: Requirements & Verification Engineer on the P220 program. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into a total system solution that acknowledges the technical, schedule and cost constraints; Perform functional analysis, requirements analysis and decomposition from the System Spec down to the Component Specifications. This effort also includes the architecting and planning of the verification activities at the program level and associated interactions with Test Engineering, Product Teams, and modeling efforts to clearly define achievable requirements that are verifiable

This position is contingent upon the anticipated proposal win and subsequent contract award for the Special Programs Line of Business. Contract Award anticipated for early summer 2018

Ability to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance is a requirement for this position

Basic Qualifications
- Must have demonstrated applicable experience in the upfront System Engineering activities (e.g., Requirements Analysis, Requirements Development and Allocation, etc.), and experience supporting a major program review (i.e. Preliminary Design Review, or Critical Design Review)
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work with customers and Product Teams in developing specifications
- Must have previous experience in developing Interface Control Designs specifications, requirements flow down and allocation, or requirements verification processes
- Must have current TS/SCI clearance

Desired skills
- Prior Certified Principle Engineer (CPE) experience
- Full program or product life cycle experience
- Experience with the DOORs requirements database via setting up or maintaining a DOORs architecture, writing DXL scripting, and/or working directly with the DOORs change management system
- Experience with Automation Framework and its ties to DOORs
- A firm understanding and demonstrated experience applying Lockheed Martin and industry engineering and systems engineering processes and principles to develop and deliver high reliability, high cost, nationally critical satellite systems
- Flexible learner: Ability to pick up new skills and knowledge easily
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
