The Test Engineering Recurring Support Manager for the Apache Programs Test Engineering team will be responsible for all Apache Programs including Arrowhead, MDSA, LBFCR, and Hi-Rel Turret Recurring Support. This position will report directly to the Fire Control TE Section Manager and have dotted line to the Apache Programs Test Engineering Manager. The position is responsible for all recurring support Test Engineering E&T Functional Lead efforts on the program. This includes proposal generation, contract negotiation, planning, CAM, capital and personnel development. In addition this position will support all program technical reviews and management reviews. The successful candidate must possess a proven ability to manage multiple teams working on concurrent development and sustainment programs. The individual must have the experience, drive, and demonstrated capability to lead a team of approximately 4-8 test engineers as well as work with the other Apache E&T Functions to achieve program objective. This position requires effective task organization and communication skills as well as a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of testing Electro-Optical, Radar and Electronic units. Candidates must possess the experience and initiative to ensure technical support is provided to all areas, keep abreast of technical issues, and ensure the right processes are being exercised to drive timely resolution. Candidate should have wide experience/familiarity in dealing with Technical Operations functions included but not limited to Systems, Software, Configuration Management, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, Test, Reliability, Safety and Logistics. Candidate should also have wide experience and familiarity working with Production Operations, Quality, Planning, Finance, BusOps and Program management. The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership and technical leadership as well as externally to customers, suppliers and joint venture partners. Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus. Primary Function will be the management of the Apache Test Engineering team, ensuring that the team is an integral part of the Apache Program. Key Program Responsibilities include: - CAM and CAM lite functions - Test Engineering Program Execution - Capital Equipment Requests, Planning and Execution - Personnel leadership and development - Program technical support/review during product development

Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen with an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Candidate skill set must include a solid electrical engineering background in analysis, troubleshooting, test instrumentation interface, strong electrical and electro-mechanical test equipment hardware design, and electro-optical interface. Working knowledge of collimators and blackbodies is a must
Programming environment will be National Instruments TestStand, LabWindows/CVI
Previous Lead responsibilities

Desired skills
5 years previous experience in a leadership role
Electro Optical Testing and or RF Background including optical path design, integration, analysis, validation and verification
Familiar with optical alignment measurement equipment and techniques
Test Software includes C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, NI LabWindows CVI, Visual Studio, Matlab, Windows and LINUX operating systems. Previous ATE lead responsibilities of a major program
Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline
