Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems
Mechanical build Assembly Integration and Test support to Commercial Space programs. This consists of leading technicians and engineers in the performance of the work documentation (Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI)s and Test Procedures, analyzing test data, and other Test Engineering duties. This position requires experience at a system level and unique abilities to understand system level requirements. Integration and Test includes assembly of Commercial A2100TR Space Vehicle and all performance and environmental testing such as Baseline/Final Integrated System Test (BIST/FIST), Acoustics, Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), and Final Range. The Mechanical Certified Test Conductor (CTC) must be able to work independently and ask all of the required questions. Determine lead times and help build Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) schedules. Create and update instructions and procedures in Visual Enterprise Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (VE-CAMS)/SAP and Automation Framework

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. Candidate must have at least 3 years experience with spacecraft/satellite system level build and Integration and Test of spacecraft.

Extensive knowledge of the ATLO process to include being an expert on mechanical integration related to major moves, lifts and transportation operations. Actual hands-on experience conducting Critical Operations and a strong understanding of FFMEAs. Experience with integration of flight components to structure
Experience leading a team of engineers or technicians integrating and testing aerospace mechanical systems
Experience with documentation prior to initiation of work as well adherence to documentation through execution.
Willing to learn the new TR A2100 processes and creating a pathfinder for future builds throughout the enterprise.
Must be willing and able to work off shifts as needed, overtime and weekends as required.
Must be able to travel Domestic and Foreign in support launch of campaigns up to 60 days at a time
Must be able to travel Domestic to support Subsystem and component testing.
Prior experience in independently determining and developing approach to solutions.
Ability to direct and influence technical staff with both verbal and written word skills

Desired skills
Previous experience being a mechanical floor lead. A2100/A2100TR processing experience. Knowledge of ATLO Operations combined with some knowledge of Electrical Test and MGSE/EGSE Operations
Certified Test Conductor certification
